There are many reasons. For a start, you may not have access to your email server at the time of a continuity event!
Secondarily, CF sends messages across multiple channels in parallel, so you are not restricted to email OR SMS.
CF doesn't send the rich content in the email or SMS, it instead send a link to a page, or even multiple pages, that you have built, starting from one of our templates. Far more information can be delivered on this page using video, text and image than can be contained in an email.
These pages can be secured using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), ensuring the right recipient can see the correct information.
Lastly, CF tracks delivery, clicks, video plays, etc. down to the individual, so you know who has seen what and when.

For a start, we are cookie-free. We track ONLY the actions performed by a recipient on the page you sent.
We track delivery, page opens, document views and links clicked.
For video, we track every instance of a play, video completions, how many seconds were watched and even which portions of the video have been watched.
With this information, your team can support users by knowing who has seen what and where they may need help.
Nteraction includes a workflow engine to automate delivery to your customers.
You can send messages ad-hoc, or set a delivery schedule (for example, a monthly reminder to update credentials to a continuity system).
You can set follow-up messages to be sent on a date, after a specific period has passed or based on a future end-date (such as a reminder to perform an action before the end of the year).
We also have conditional branching, so if you sent an SMS and after a period of time, say 5 minutes, if the page has not been opened, you can send a reminder via SMS and/or email.
Each Playlist (page) can optionally be secured with 2FA.
We send your initial message containing the link to your page.
The recipient clicks this link.
They are then required to enter the phone number or email address to which they received the notification.
A second message is then sent with a code that is valid for 20 minutes.
The recipient enters the code on the page and the content is then loaded.
What we term as a playlist is a mobile-first page with a URL that is unique to a given recipient or group of recipients.
Users create "Playlists" of what we call Cards. Each card is a piece of content. The card could be a header, an image, a carousel, rich text or a video.
The focus of Nteraction is on the rapid delivery of easy to digest content. The Playlist page received by the recipient is purposefully simple to enable codeless build and ease of readability.
A Template is a pre-built Playlist that can be approved ahead of time. The Template contains places for content to be added at the time of send.
For example, you can create a generic template for a location-specific or system-specific cyber event. You put in the standard content, such as contact lists and basic instructions, but leave an empty space for systems-specific information, such as a video explaining the fallback system or a document with a form that enables offline data capture.
At the time of the cyber event, you create a new Playlist from the Template. Most of the content you need is already there, you just change the title to reflect the specific even details and add in the previously approved content specific to the event. This can all be done in a matter of minutes, if not seconds.
The Playlist is then ready for distribution, without the need for content approval at the time of the event as the Template has been previously approved and any content added from the "library" has also been approved.
